Privacy Policy

1. What we collect
- Quiz inputs: gender selection, and either your birth date & time or your chosen personality archetype — used only to calculate your name matches.
- Order data: the tier you purchase, and — if you complete a real checkout — the billing details our payment provider collects on our behalf.
- Contact data: your email address when you write to us or submit the free quiz email form. The quiz email form forwards your submitted email and quiz context to our Google Form.
- Browser storage: a checkout draft is stored in session storage to restore your quiz, country and gift details after a cancelled payment. Consent preferences are saved in local storage.
- Optional measurement: with analytics consent, Google Analytics receives page and purchase events and browser-generated client/session identifiers. Marketing consent separately enables Meta tracking. Neither is required to buy a report.
2. Why we collect it
Solely to calculate and deliver your name match, process payment, and respond if you contact us. We do not sell your data, and we do not use it for unrelated marketing without a separate, explicit opt-in.
3. Who we share it with
Stripe processes payment for the seller and stores the order's tier, gender/archetype, optional Nakshatra, birth place, country and gift details as order metadata. Stripe Checkout does not itself make Stripe the merchant of record. Quiz email submissions are forwarded to Google Forms. Optional analytics and marketing events are sent to Google and Meta only after the corresponding choice. Stripe access-link identifiers and personal quiz payloads are removed from tracked page URLs.
4. How long we keep it
Stripe retains order records and order metadata. The checkout ignores browser drafts older than 24 hours; session storage is normally cleared when the browser session ends. The operator must define and document retention periods for order, lead, analytics and marketing records.
5. Your rights
You can ask us what data we hold about you, ask us to correct it, or ask us to delete it, by emailing hello@naamstar.com. We do not offer phone-based requests — everything, including data requests, is handled through the website or email.
6. Cookies & local storage
Necessary session storage restores your checkout. Optional Google Analytics and Meta scripts load only after your respective consent choice and may use cookies. You can change your choices using “Privacy settings” in the footer and clear browser storage in your browser settings.
