1. What we collect
- Quiz inputs: gender selection, and either your birth date & time or your chosen personality archetype — used only to calculate your name matches.
- Order data: the tier you purchase, and — if you complete a real checkout — the billing details our payment provider collects on our behalf.
- Contact data: your email address, only if you write to us.
- Local browser storage: your most recent quiz result is saved in your browser's local storage so the checkout and results page can show it to you. It is not sent to our servers unless you complete a purchase.
2. Why we collect it
Solely to calculate and deliver your name match, process payment, and respond if you contact us. We do not sell your data, and we do not use it for unrelated marketing without a separate, explicit opt-in.
3. Who we share it with
Our payment provider, acting as merchant of record, receives the billing information needed to process your payment and handle applicable tax. We do not share your quiz inputs (birth date/time, gender, archetype) with any third party.
4. How long we keep it
Order records are kept as long as required for accounting and tax purposes. Quiz inputs stored only in your own browser are kept until you clear your browser storage — we do not separately retain a copy.
5. Your rights
You can ask us what data we hold about you, ask us to correct it, or ask us to delete it, by emailing hello@naamstar.com. We do not offer phone-based requests — everything, including data requests, is handled through the website or email.
6. Cookies & local storage
We use your browser's local storage (not third-party tracking cookies) to remember your latest quiz result between pages. You can clear this at any time in your browser settings.
